Terms of Service
Last updated 15 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Amelu, a product of Ordnary ("Ordnary", "we", "us"), registered in the Netherlands (KVK 95732888). By creating an account or using Amelu, you agree to them.
The service
Amelu lets you host email on your own domain: verifying domains, creating mailboxes and aliases, and managing forwarding, spam filtering and DNS. Plans and their limits (domains, mailboxes, storage, message volume) are described on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into a contract to sign up, and the information you give us must be accurate.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Amelu to send spam, phishing or malware, to impersonate someone else, or to break applicable law. Full detail is in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.
Billing
The Free plan has no cost. Paid plans (Go, Pro) are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown in EUR and exclude VAT where applicable. If a payment fails, we'll try again and may suspend paid features until it's resolved, without deleting your data during a reasonable grace period. See our Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.
Availability
We aim to keep Amelu reliably available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We'll try to give notice of planned maintenance that could affect mail delivery.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, particularly where it threatens the deliverability or reputation of our mail infrastructure for other customers. Where reasonably possible, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the issue.
You can close your account at any time from the dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterwards.
Liability
Amelu is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Ordnary isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as liability for our own gross negligence or intent.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply in your own country of residence.
